Week 3 Outlet Pass

Week 2 rebound:
-Pelicans coming back down to earth.  4-0 start was surprising, now 4-4
-Houston being 1-5 and one of the lowest scoring teams in the league???
-Timberwolves finding a little rhythm.  Let’s see if the old winning cures everything logic will clear up the Butler situation.
-Nuggets still pouring it on.  7-1 with the only loss to a fall away tip in at the buzzer to Golden State.

Now on the Week 3, and the best part about it.  COLLEGE BASKETBALL IS BACK!!!!!

NCAA Thoughts:
-Kansas is the best team in the country.  Some will call it a homer call, but it’s just a fact.  Anyone who says otherwise is just lying to themselves.  Look for them to be at least 7 point favorites over Michigan State on Tuesday.
– Speaking of Tuesday, and the Champions Classic, Duke is the 2nd best team in the country.  I know the rankings say 2 Kentucky vs 4 Duke, but I fully expect Duke to be the favorite in this game.  Say around 3 points.  Just not sold on UK.  Not their typical recruiting class, although still good, and the returning players are returning for a reason.  They just weren’t that great.
-The Citadel.  Not a traditional name to hear when talking about college basketball by any means, but gamblers know about them.  The past few years their scores have resembled more NBA games than college games.  Look for them to never have a line under 175.
-Speaking of points…..Nevada WolfPack.  The Martin twins are going to lead one of the best offenses in the country.  I anticipate a lot of team total bets with this team.

NBA Thoughts:
-Seems early, but we’re already getting the “DNP-rest” showing up in the box scores.  This is going to make predicting lines very difficult.
– Cavs are a straight up dumpster fire.  Much like Kansas being number one, if this doesn’t solidify LeBron as a the GOAT, you’re just a hater.  He’s been gone for 2 weeks, and the same team that went to the Finals a year ago is 1-7.  Coach got fired and no one wants to replace him.  This team is going to have a 40 win difference from a year ago, but naaahhhhhhhh “LeBitch sucks and needs All-Star super teams to win”.
-Speaking of LeBron, until further notice, bet the over on every Lakers game.  Offense is clicking and the defense, well, sometimes they get 5 guys back to stand on that side to give the illusion of defense.
– Same goes for Atlanta.  Over.  Over. Over. Over.  115 points to the Kings in 3 quarters?  Really?  Wish that was an outlier.  Warriors already threw up 90 in a half this year, they might score 200 against Atlanta.
– Phoenix is unbetable without Booker.  You bet for them to get blown out, they stick around and cover with garbage buckets.  You bet the over and they do their part by scoring 84 points.  God forbid you bet an under, Warren probably scores 40.
-Houston?  My god, I’m not sure they could beat Oak Hill Academy, let alone another NBA team at this point.  Everyone knew the defense would be awful, but no one saw the offense being this bad.

October was a decent feeler, but look for November to turn more of a profit.  Month started off the right foot with a SWEEP of the board.
